One virus, created and released by the Umbrella Corporation, has spread across the globe. The initial effects were devastating, the casualties beyond count and the response has been global-panic. The UN has labeled it a epidemic, and has called in the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance, along with their allies, to put an end to the infection zones. The project is codenamed: Epidemic Directive; the objective: to contain, destroy or otherwise neutralize the virus and the danger it represents to humanity as a whole. Join the game, live the horror and experience the dangers of Resident Evil. Will you choose to stop the spread of the virus, or help it? Will you save the world from the Umbrella Corporation, or will you condemn it? The choice is yours.

In the aftermath of the great battles that lead to the fall of the Heartless Hordes and the Armies of Nobodies upon the World that Never Was, the universe struggles to rebuild itself and its worlds strive for normalcy. Now destruction can come in a mushroom cloud carried in a suitcase, and a new type of military force is needed to protect the world. Join the newly founded G.I. Joe organization and protect the innocent, or join the terrorist group Cobra and grab onto all the power you can get. This game will be realistic, set in a real world setting and avoid some of the more over the top aspects of the later Joe products like mecha suits.
